Fundraising:
As affordable as our program is, it can still be out of reach for seniors on a fixed income. Fortunately, there are government programs that offer stipends, which is a blessing for our client families.
However, these programs require us to accept the stipend as payment-in-full which covers only 80% of actual program expenses.
To maintain services, we must bridge the deficit through ongoing fundraising efforts. Your tax-free donations make our work possible. Consider making a one-time or recurring donation and help us bridge our gap today.
Text to Give:
TEXT the amount you would like to give to (360) 614-2881. If you are a first time donor through this system you will be prompted to a secure URL to register. Once you are registered, you can text the number any time you would like to give.
Give through your IRA:
Giving to SADP through your IRA account is a great option for many and could be right for you! Read more about what this looks like and please reach out to us with questions or if this is something you’re considering.
Consider and IRA Charitable Rollover IF YOU:
- are 70 ½ or older,
- have an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)
- do not depend upon your required minimum distribution from your IRA for living expenses
Benefits of an IRA charitable rollover
- Make tax-free gifts totaling up to $105,000 from your IRA directly to qualified charities, like SADP
- Satisfy your IRA’s required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year
- Reduce your taxable income, even if you do not itemize deductions
- Make a gift that is not subject to the deduction limits on charitable gifts
How an IRA charitable rollover gift works
- Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to us.
- Your IRA funds will be directly transferred to our organization to help continue our important work.
- Please note that IRA charitable rollover gifts do not qualify for a charitable deduction.
- Please contact us if you wish for your gift to be used for a specific purpose.

Events:
We sponsor two community events each year as primary opportunities for fundraising, education, and outreach. Volunteers are needed to promote the event, sell raffle tickets, secure donations, and help with the event itself. Every volunteer is very much appreciated. Please check our calendar for upcoming events.
Volunteer:
Do you have a heart for seniors with special needs? Our clients and staff deeply appreciate involvement from community volunteers who take the time to share their skills and interests or who can spend an hour entertaining an appreciative audience. If you have a talent to share or time to invest, please contact us about volunteering. We’d love to hear from you!
